Aquarius Beach Resort




Only 25km south of Malindi and a 100km from Mombasa, the Aquarius Watamu Beach Resort was established in 1994 as a small family-run village. Overlooking the Indian Ocean the Aquarius Resort today offers its guests 132 rooms of various types: singles, doubles, triples and interconnecting rooms for families, all with a tranquil outlook onto leafy tropical gardens.
Furnished in a traditional "Swahili" style, all rooms are provided with en suite bathrooms, hot water, air conditioning, ventilator, minibar (supply on demand), personal safe and a furnished veranda. A self-service dining room offers breakfast and lunch whilst an impressive variety of main courses of fresh meat, fish, vegetables and pasta are available for dinner. The hotel has its own Massage Center and Hairdressing Salon and hotel Boutique Shop.
The local town marketplace or curio shops offer customary Kenyan handicrafts and more luxurious items are sold by the local boutiques. Baby sitting can be organized if parents need additional help with the younger guests.
